Before initiating a refund request, it's essential to understand the refund policy. Not all events or ticket types may be eligible for refunds. The refund policy is usually set by the event organiser and may vary from one event to another.
Types of Event Refunds on Livepass
These tickets are fully refundable. If you change your mind or cannot attend the event, you can request a refund following the standard procedure mentioned below.
Refunds must be initiated within the stipulated time frame as mentioned in the event's policy.
As the name suggests, these tickets are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances. However, Livepass is committed to work with any event organisers to convert Non-Refundable Tickets into Conditional Refunds should there be any major changes made to the event, including but not limited to change of date, change of venue and change in the performance schedule or appearances.
These tickets come with specific refund conditions set by the event organiser. For instance, you may receive a refund if there are any major changes made to the event, including but not limited to, change of date, change of venue and change in the performance schedule or appearances.
Steps to Request a Refund (Refundable Tickets)
1. Navigate to the official Livepass website and log in using your credentials.
2. After logging in, click on My Account at the top right, and from the dropdown, choose My Tickets.
3. Select the event whose tickets you wish to request a refund.
4. If this event allows refunds, there will be a Request a Refund option right below the ticket.
5. Complete the Refund Form and provide a reason for the refund.
6. Click submit and wait for the results.
The Refund Process
After form submission, your request will be sent to the event organiser for assessment. A confirmation email about your request will be sent to you. Be patient as the refund review may take up to 14 business days to complete.
If approved, the refund will either be returned to the original payment method; or via an interbank transfer from the event organiser to your bank account. The payment method will be communicated to you via email.
Should your request be denied, an email will be sent detailing the reasons.
